Sydney: An own goal by Lim Seon-Joo helped Australia edge Korea Republic 1-0 in an international friendly at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday.

It was a morale-boosting win for interim head coach Tom Sermanni, who  saw Australia end a three-game losing run ahead of their AFC Asian Cup™ 2026 preparations on home soil.
