Kathmandu: India qualified for the semi-finals of the AFC U-14 Girls’ Regional Championship for the South and Central Zone while hosts Nepal and Iran inched closer to the semis after their second round matches in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Bhutan and Bangladesh will lock horns on Wednesday whose winners will advance to the semis on Friday along with India (pictured playing Bangladesh).
Nepal and Iran currently occupy top and second spots respectively in the four-nation Group A table and will play their last group stage matches against Sri Lanka and the Maldives respectively also on Wednesday.
