Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) #BreakTheChain campaign has reached a new landmark with 100 Asian stars lending their voice towards raising awareness in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Philippines national team centurion James Younghusband fittingly joins the latest episode alongside Yan Junling of China PR and Morteza Pouraliganji of Islamic Republic of Iran, urging communities affected by COVID-19 to remain calm and patient.

AFC President sends message of unity and solidarity to Member Associations

Kuala Lumpur: Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President, has sent a message of unity and solidarity to the Presidents of the AFC’s Member Associations and thanked them for their support during the current COVID-19 crisis.

In the letter, reproduced below, the AFC President praised the way the Member Associations have come together "to tackle the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on an international and domestic level – showing just how much Football Cares."
