Kuala Lumpur: The Elite Men’s Referees’ Course Group 1 closed on Saturday with the participants having expressed their appreciation of the course and vowed to share their knowledge and experience back home.
The course, which started on Tuesday, was one of the activities of the AFC Elite Education Seminar 2012 Part 1 Kuala Lumpur on January 9-20. AFC Deputy General Secretary Hasan Al Sabah declared the course close.
Leow Thiam Hoe from Singapore is happy with the latest knowledge in refereeing that he has gained from the course.
“I’m really happy with this course this year and i look forward to going back to Singapore to share my knowledge with my colleagues. I look forward to this year’s duty and will do my best.”
Marai Mohammed Alawaji from Saudi Arabia is happy to be surrounded by referees who are passionate about their work which is a good environment to learn in the course.
“I’m surrounded by referees who are really passionate about refereeing and who are on top of their work. I’m happy for this atmosphere which is conducive to learning new knowledge.
“I’ve learned a lot in this year’s EES and I will definitely go home and share with friends.”
