Mashhad: Turkmenistan finished at the bottom of Group D qualifying of the AFC U-14 Championship 2014 after succumbing to India 3-0 at the Samen Al Aemeh Stadium on Monday.
Jitendra Singh (penalty), Abhijit Sarkar and Ajay Alex Antonay were on target for the Indians, who won two of four games and finished on third position in the group, while Turkmenistan had lost all their four matches.
In a later match, Iran defeated Pakistan 3-0 and clinched the only ticket available from the group to advance to the finals of the inaugural continental U-14 championship.
Forty-six nations are in the qualification and are divided into four zones of two groups each (total eight groups) with the top two teams from each zone (total eight teams) qualifying for the finals.

Iran – 12 points
Pakistan – 9 points
India – 6 points
Kyrgyzstan – 1 point
Turkmenistan – 1 point
