Amman: Coaches in Jordan began their quest to learn the latest trends in coaching as they started two courses in the national capital on Sunday.
The AFC ‘B’ Coaching Certificate Course is divided into two parts -- from 28 July to 8 August and from 17 to 22 August -- and instructed by Ziad Akouba who is also the Development Director of Jordan FA.
The ‘C’ Coaching Certificate Course is also broken into two sessions -- from 28 July to 2 August and from 17 to 22 August -- with Jordan’s U-22 national team coach Islam Thiabat instructing.
Jordan FA board member Muhammed Samara said during the courses’ opening ceremony: “Jordan FA will continue to put all their efforts to develop the national coaches by arranging many coaches’ courses every year.”
Jordan FA Technical Director Ahmad Quteishat added his comments: “It is very important to work on developing the coaches on the technical and practical sides, and this is why we work on providing our coaches with the latest trends in coaching.”
The ‘C’ certificate is the basic coaching credential before which a holder can proceed to take up the ‘B’ certificate, ‘A’ certificate and finally the highest coaching qualification in the continent, the Pro Diploma.
