In an earlier match that day Thailand had defeated Cambodia 1-0 and thus clinched the ticket to the eight-nation finals with a match to play.

The Honma Kei-led Laotians will be facing Thailand while Indonesia led by head coach Mundari Karya are up against Bangladesh in their last matches on Monday.

The results of Group F and also Group E, both in Myanmar, will complete the qualification stage of the eight-nation inaugural U-14 tournament.
