Kuala Lumpur: Asian Football Confederation (AFC) General Secretary Dato’ Windsor John held discussions on Thursday with National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) President Pengiran Haji Matusin bin Pengiran Haji Matasan on various topics to improve the sport in the Sultanate.
The NFABD President, who returned to football administration after 11 years in November, visited the AFC House alongside Acting General Secretary of NFABD Mohammad Shahnon bin Haji Mohammad Salleh to attend meetings with the AFC General Secretary and staff.
Pengiran Haji Matusin was briefed on the AFC’s Vision and Mission and expressed his intention to work closely with the AFC to develop football in Brunei Darussalam while also finding ways on how to improve the performance of the national team.
The NFABD President and Acting General Secretary were also given a tour of the AFC House.
