Valencia: Korea Republic teenager Lee Kang-in has made his European professional debut with Spanish outfit Valencia CF.
Lee started Valencia's first leg against Ebro in the Round of 32 of the Copa del Rey at the Estadio La Romareda in Zaragoza on Tuesday.
Lee played for 82 minutes before being substituted by Alex Blanco who also made his debut with the club.
Valencia won the match 2-1, with Santi Mina scoring both goals in the second half.
At 17 years and 253 days old, Lee became the youngest Korean to debut in European football, besting Nam Tae-hee, who was 18 years and 36 days old when he first appeared for Valenciennes FC in the French Ligue 1.
Lee made an early star turn in a Korea Republic reality TV programme for football prodigies in 2007 and signed with Valencia's youth team four years later.
