Chonburi: DPR Korea goalkeeper Yu Son-gum is adamant that adverse pressure will not be a factor when her side meets Korea Republic in the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship Thailand 2019 semi-finals on Wednesday.
Under the guidance of head coach Son Sung-gwon, DPR Korea have impressed in Chonburi, with three successive victories helping them finish first in Group A and move within touching distance of not only a place in the competition’s final, but also a berth at next year’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Nigeria.

Chonburi: Rising star Misaki Morita has revealed that Japan are fully focused on beating Australia in the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship Thailand 2019 semi-finals to claim a place at next year’s FIFA U-20 World Cup in Nigeria.
The dynamic midfielder scored her side’s second goal in Sunday’s hard-fought 2-1 win over China PR, a result which saw reigning champions Japan claim pole position in Group B and sail into the competition’s last four on the back of three successive victories.

Chonburi: With the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship Thailand 2019 group stage action coming to an end on Sunday, the tournament’s four semi-finalists have now been confirmed.
As the dust settles on 12 pulsating matches in Chonburi, Group A winners DPR Korea will now tackle Group B runners-up Korea Republic, while reigning champions Japan – who topped the Group B standings – are set to meet Australia after they finished second in Group A. Both matches are scheduled to be played on Wednesday.
In addition to Continental glory being on the line, the competition’s top three finishers are guaranteed places at next year’s FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Nigeria.

Chonburi: Japan made it three wins from three at the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship Thailand 2019 as they beat China PR 2-1 on Sunday to progress to the semi-finals as Group B winners and edge ever closer to a sixth Continental crown.
Goals either side of the break eventually proved the difference as Japan claimed a hard-fought victory against a spirited China outfit who exited the competition after being consigned to a third-place finish following Korea Republic’s win over Myanmar in the group’s other game.
Japan will now meet Australia in the last four on Wednesday as both sides look to reach the tournament’s November 9 title showdown and, in the process, guarantee themselves a place at the 2020 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Chonburi: Korea Republic sealed their place in the last-four of the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship Thailand 2019 after edging Myanmar 1-0 in their final Group B tie at the IPE Chonburi Stadium on Sunday.
Korea Republic finished second in the standings behind Japan, who defeated China PR 2-1 in the group’s other fixture, while Myanmar ended their campaign without a point.
Korea Republic will face Group A winners DPR Korea while Japan will face Australia in Wednesday's semi-finals.
