Thailand and Indonesia remain unbeaten, Vietnam restore dream of bronze in KL 2017 SEA Games women’s futsal
Shah Alam: Thailand and Indonesia battled it out to share a point each after a 2-2 draw, while Vietnam revived their hopes of winning bronze with a 4-1 win over Myanmar at the Kuala Lumpur 2017 SEA Games women’s futsal at the Panasonic Sports Complex on Friday.
In a battle for supremacy, both sides entered the match to maintain their undefeated campaigns and secure top spot in the standings.
From the very beginning, Thailand and Indonesia were equally matched in agility and strength, maintaining a good balance of aggression and defence, until Anggi Puspita Sari broke the deadlock in the first 12 minutes.
Despite being a goal down, Thailand never lost composure but Indonesia held their ground till the half-time whistle.
