Thailand beat Malaysia 6-0, maintaining an unbeaten streak at the UiTM Stadium. The loss meant that Malaysia are out of the running for the gold medal, but have a slim chance of winning bronze. Orathai Srimanee put Thailand in the lead with a 19th minute goal, but they couldn’t find any more opportunities throughout the first half. Nine minutes after the break, Nisa Romyen opened the floodgates with a goal, before Srimanee got her second three minutes later. With their morale surging, Thailand score two more through Naphat Seesraum and Saowalak Pengngam in the 58th and 60th minutes respectively. Taneekarn Dangda ended the goal spree in added time to place Thailand at the top of the standings.
