Port FC win Thai FA Cup

Pathum Thani: Port FC clinched the Thai FA Cup 2019 title after edging Ratchaburi Mitr Phol FC 1-0 in the final at the Leo Stadium in Pathum Thani on Saturday.

Midfielder Sergio Suarez scored the only goal of the game as Port claimed their second Thai FA Cup title, having previously won in 2009.

Bishkek: FC Dordoi completed their bid for a second successive Kyrgyz Premier League title in dominant style, sealing the championship win with a 5-0 success over Abdish-Ata Kant on Saturday.

Mustafa Iusuopv scored a double for Alexander Krestinin’s side, with Vahyt Orazsahedov, Mirlan Murzaev and Mamatziia Zholdoshov all finding the net as Alexander Krestinin’s side retained the title with a match to spare.

The Bishkek club were as many as eight points behind fellow contenders FC Alay Osh earlier in the season, but a consistent run of results and a league-leading 17 goals from Orazsahedov ensured Dordoi became champions for an 11th time.
