Yoon, Mirzaev gunning for top prize

Pathum Thani: Korea Republic’s Yoon Do-young and Uzbekistan’s Lazizbek Mirzaev have both signalled their determination to settle for nothing less than the AFC U17 Asian Cup™ Thailand 2023 title ahead of Thursday’s enticing semi-final clash.

Yoon, who has scored four goals in as many games, is currently tied at the top with teammate Kim Myung-Jun in the race to be the competition’s topscorer. However, the Korean striker, a team player through and through, refused to pay any heed to personal glory.

Saudi Arabia 2023 host city confirmed

Jeddah: The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) and FIFA have confirmed that all matches during the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023 will take place in the city of Jeddah. 

The decision was made following a FIFA delegation visit to Jeddah to assess ongoing preparations for the tournament, which takes place from 12-22 December 2023. It will be the first time the FIFA Club World Cup is held in Saudi Arabia.
