Bali: DPR Korea showed why they are among the favourites to win the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2024 when they defeated Korea Republic 7-0 in their Group A opener at the Bali United Training Center on Monday.

Jon Il-Chong struck a hat-trick while Ho Kyong claimed two goals to steer DPR Korea to an emphatic victory ahead of their tie against the Philippines on Matchday Two while Korea Republic will be hoping to bounce back against hosts Indonesia.

Bali: Head coach Rae Dower says Australia are coming into the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup Indonesia™ 2024 with a winning mindset with her side kicking off their Group B campaign against China PR at the Bali United Training Center on Tuesday. 

While Australia have yet to win the title, Dower’s side showed their pedigree by topping their group in the Qualifiers Round 2 with three wins.
