Qualifiers - Group F: Vietnam too strong for Hong Kong; Indonesia ease past Timor-Leste

Surabaya: Vietnam defeated Hong Kong 5-1 while Indonesia beat Timor-Leste 4-0 in Group F of the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ Uzbekistan 2023 Qualifiers at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium on Wednesday.

The comprehensive victories give Vietnam and Indonesia  an early advantage with only the top team from the group assured of a place in Uzbekistan 2023.

Qualifiers - Group C: Japan turn on the power against Guam, Yemen eliminate Laos

Vientiane: Kanta Chiba scored six times as Japan flexed their muscles against Guam to emerge 9-0 winners, while Yemen edged Laos 2-1 to secure their first win in Group C of the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ Uzbekistan 2023 Qualifiers on Wednesday. 

The result makes it two wins out of two for the Samurai Blue as they sit comfortably at the top of the standings.

Yemen, meanwhile, survived a late Laos revival to bounce back into contention.

AFC U20 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2023™ Qualifiers Group H to be held in Kuwait

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has today confirmed the Kuwait Football Association as the host Member Association of the AFC U20 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2023™ Qualifiers Group H matches.

Additionally, Australia, who had earlier withdrawn from the tournament, have been reinstated to the group following the approval of the AFC Competitions Committee on September 12, 2022, in accordance with Articles 6.2 and 61.1 of the Competition Regulations.
