Qualifiers - Group K: Indonesia impress, DPR Korea, Hong Kong share points
Jakarta: Indonesia got off to a winning start against Timor-Leste, while DPR Korea were held to a draw by a gallant Hong Kong as AFC U-19 Championship 2020 Qualifiers Group K began in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Two goals from Muhammad Fajar Fathur helped the group hosts see off Timor-Leste by a 3-1 margin, while DPR Korea and Hong Kong finished deadlocked at 1-1.
Hong Kong will face Indonesia when action resumes on Friday, while DPR Korea will cross paths with Timor-Leste.
Qualifiers - Group H: Chinese Taipei sizzle, Australia fight back
Kaohsiung City: Chinese Taipei surged to an 8-0 win over Macau while Australia came from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw with Laos in Group H of the AFC U-19 Championship Uzbekistan 2020 Qualifiers at the National Stadium in Kaohsiung City on Wednesday.
Hosts Chinese Taipei were rampant against Macau to take the early lead in the group standings while 10-man Australia showed great determination to salvage a point against Laos.
Qualifiers - Group G: Thailand impress, Cambodia bounce back
Phnom Penh: Thailand got their AFC U-19 Championship Uzbekistan 2020 qualifying campaign off to a resounding start while hosts Cambodia revived their hopes in Group G action at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh on Monday.
Thailand were simply unstoppable as they registered a 9-0 win over Brunei Darussalam while Cambodia, defeated 5-4 by Malaysia on Matchday One, also beat Northern Mariana Islands 9-0.
Qualifiers - Group G: Winning starts for Malaysia, Brunei DS
Phnom Penh: Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia got their AFC U-19 Championship Uzbekistan 2020 qualifying campaigns off to winning starts in Group G on Saturday.
Malaysia, reduced to nine players by the 59th minute, survived a late Cambodian revival to win 5-4, while Brunei saw off a spirited Northern Mariana Islands 4-3 at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh.
Qualifiers - Group C: Tajikistan, Syria set up final day showdown
Dushanbe: Tajikistan will only need a draw in their final qualifying match to seal their place in the AFC U-19 Championship 2020 Finals after defeating Lebanon 1-0 in a hard-fought Group C tie at the Republican Central Stadium on Friday.
The hosts, however, will have to brace themselves for another tough encounter as they will face Syria, who defeated Maldives 3-2 earlier on Friday, in their final qualifying tie on Sunday.
Syria, on four points after having played to a 1-1 draw in their opener against Lebanon on Wednesday, will have to win to seal top spot and confirm their place in the 2020 Finals.
