Qualifiers - Group G: UAE power past India to advance

Dalian: United Arab Emirates defeated India 3-0 in their final AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024 Qualifiers Group G fixture at the Dalian Sports Centre Stadium on Tuesday.

UAE took a two-goal cushion going into the break before sealing the win in the second half to clinch top spot in Group G on goal difference ahead of China PR, who now have to hope they advance as one of the best four second-placed teams.

Qualifiers - Group B: Korea Republic confirm ticket

Changwon: Korea Republic booked their place in the AFC U23 Asian Cup™ Qatar 2024 Finals after a 3-0 win over Myanmar in their Qualifiers Group B tie on Tuesday.

Korea Republic, the 2020 champions, topped the group with six points, having defeated Kyrgyz Republic 1-0 on Matchday Two.
 
Qatar, competing in the Qualifiers for exposure ahead of hosting the Finals next April, beat Kyrgyz Republic 1-0 to end their campaign with three victories.

Gosford: Nick Montgomery has left A-League Grand Final winners Central Coast Mariners to take over as the new head coach of Scottish Premiership side Hibernian, the Australian club announced on Monday.
