VIETNAM 4-0 THAILAND

Vietnam finished top of Group K, while Thailand, who already have a place in the Finals, took second spot.

Thailand started the match strongly but it was Vietnam who were more threatening as they opened their account in the 17th minute through Ha Duc Chinh as the young Golden Dragons took a 1-0 lead into half-time.

SINGAPORE 3-1 MONGOLIA

Singapore came into the match knowing that they had to secure a win if they wanted to finish top two in the group after they had played to 1-1 draws in their first two fixtures, but they had the worst possible of starts against Mongolia.

KOREA REPUBLIC 2-2 AUSTRALIA

The match was intense from the referee's first blow of the whistle, as both teams knew that a win would mean qualification to the Finals.

With both teams on six points, Korea Republic had the advantage of a better goal difference which meant pressure on Australia to make up the difference and they did not disappoint.

JAPAN 7-0 MYANMAR

The win gave Japan maximum points as they topped the Group I table while Myanmar settled for second.

The young Samurai Blue raced off the blocks and quickly settled into the game with two goals in 10 minutes from Daizen Maeda.

Japan could have made it three at the 15th minute mark but Maeda missed his effort from close range as Myanmar scrambled at the back.

Malaysia 2-2 China PR

China PR and Malaysia went into the match having won their earlier matches but it was the hosts, with 25,000 fans backing them, who held the upperhand in the opening minutes.

Hadi Fayyadh led the charge for Malaysia as he caused problems for China PR. The Fagiano Okayama forward made promising runs against the East Asians who were, however, quick to deal with the threat.

JORDAN 3-0 KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

Jordan took themselves to within 90 minute of a direct place in the Finals, as they eased to a 3-0 win over Kyrgyz Republic.

The win takes Jordan to six points from two matches, while Kyrgyz Republic's dream of a first appearance in the tournament proper was shattered after a second successive defeat.

MALDIVES 0-3 UAE

UAE made it two wins from two on the road to Thailand 2020, securing a straightforward 3-0 success over Maldives.

Under the tutelage of Polish head coach Maciej Skorza, the Emiratis have now racked up nine goals in their two Group E wins, setting up a decisive encounter with group hosts Saudi Arabia on the third and final Matchday on Tuesday.
