Shui's half-time pep talk inspires China PR to historic victory
Navi Mumbai: An inspiring team talk from head coach Shui Qingxia did the job as China PR came from two goals down to edge Korea Republic 3-2 in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022™ final on Sunday.
Shui’s side trailed 2-0 at half-time after Choe Yu-ri and Ji So-yun had put Korea Republic ahead. However, China PR scored three goals in the second half courtesy of Tang Jiali, Zhang Linyan and Xiao Yuyi to seal the thrilling win.
