IR Iran, Japan suffer defeats

Jakarta: Islamic Republic of Iran and Japan suffered setbacks to their FIFA U17 World Cup Indonesia 2023 campaigns following losses on Tuesday.

Iran were beaten 2-1 by England while Japan suffered a 3-1 loss against Argentina.

Crespo takes over at Al Ain

Al Ain: Former AFC Champions League™ winners Al Ain have confirmed the appointment of Hernan Crespo as the club’s new coach, with the former Argentina striker replacing Alfred Schreuder at the helm. 

Crespo takes over with Al Ain having booked their place in the last 16 of the AFC Champions League 2023/24, which the side from the United Arab Emirates secured last week.
