Qualifiers - Group D: Palestine 1-3 IR Iran; India 0-2 Lebanon

Ahmedabad: Islamic Republic of Iran came from behind to defeat Palestine 3-1 in their AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ Qualifiers Group D tie on Friday.

Lebanon concluded their campaign with a 2-0 win against India, their first of the campaign but their haul of six points is one behind Iran as they exited the competition.

Hosts India secured their first win after fighting back to beat Chinese Taipei 3-1.

Lebanon, meanwhile, fought back to force a 1-1 stalemate with Palestine.

Ahmedabad: Group D of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ Qualifiers remains finely poised after both matches ended in draws on Saturday. 

Lebanon and Chinese Taipei settled for a goalless stalemate while a late goal saw Palestine holding India 1-1.

Bandar Seri Begawan: Lebanon kept themselves in the driver’s seat after cruising to a 3-0 win against Brunei Darussalam in their AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers Final Round Group B tie on Tuesday.

The victory moved Lebanon to 13 points, five clear of Yemen who play Bhutan later on Tuesday.

Jakarta: The AFC Futsal Asian Cup™ Indonesia 2026 has all the ingredients to be a sizzling affair following the Official Draw in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Sulaibikhat: Al Ansar FC booked their place in the AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 quarter-finals after coming from behind to defeat Oman's Al Seeb Club 2-1 in their Group B tie on Friday.

The win vaulted Al Ansar to six points with the Lebanon side finishing second behind Kuwait SC, who defeated Bashundhara Kings of Bangladesh 2-0 in the later match.

Al Ansar advanced as the best second-placed team across the three West Zone groups and will play Group C winners FC Muras United of Kyrgyz Republic in the quarter-finals.

Bishkek: Safa FC concluded their AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 Group C campaign on a positive note thanks to a 2-1 win against FC Regar-TadAZ on Friday.

Bishkek: Kyrgyz Republic’s FC Muras United defeated Safa SC of Lebanon 2-0 to earn their first win in Group C of the AFC Challenge League™ 2025/26 on Tuesday.

The win kept Muras on pace with Kuwait’s Al Arabi SC with both on four points going into Friday’s decider while Safa know anything other than victory against Tajikistan’s FC Regar-TadAZ would mean an end to their campaign.
