Doha: Qatar head coach Felix Sanchez has called up 28 players for their European Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Qatar - playing for competitive exposure - will take on Luxembourg on March 24, Azerbaijan three days later and Republic of Ireland on March 30. The ties will be played in Debrecen, Hungary.

Returning to the squad is goalkeeper Saad Al Sheeb, who was injured in the friendly against Ghana last October and missed the Asian Qualifiers Group E match against Bangladesh on December 4.
Al Sadd defender Pedro Miguel also returns after missing the match against Bangladesh, while Al Duhail defender Bassam Al Rawi will return to international duty for the first time since November 2019 after fracturing his leg against Iraq in the opening match of the 2019 Gulf Cup.
Akram Afif will miss the European tour after the 2019 AFC Player of the Year suffered an anterior muscle injury during Al Sadd’s Qatar Stars League match against Umm Salal.
