AFC Futsal Fitness Instructors’ Seminar 2018 begins in Indonesia
Yogyakarta: The AFC Futsal Fitness Instructors’ Seminar 2018, which kicked-off in the Yogyakarta on Wednesday, has six participants from Islamic Republic of Iran, China PR, Japan, Australia and Lebanon contributing to the development of fitness in futsal.
The five-day seminar, led by Fitness Instructor Dr. Abdolhoessein Parnow, aims to conduct research and study on the AFC Futsal Club Championship Indonesia 2018.
Head of AFC Futsal & Beach Soccer Competitions Department, Brian Johnson said: “It’s a great honour for me to welcome the participants to Indonesia for the AFC Futsal Fitness Instructors Seminar 2018. I hope you will benefit and gain knowledge as well as get an inside view in regards to the leading tournament which is the AFC Futsal Club Championship.
“This tournament is in its ninth edition and has gained momentum in recent years and I believe the participants will benefit from being on the sidelines of the tournament to assess players and also the technical performance of the teams who are participating in the tournament."
Parnow said: “AFC has been working on the development of futsal for many years, we will be having discussions on many topics and I’m looking forward to a good exchange of ideas in this seminar.
“This seminar plays a big part in the development of fitness futsal. The reason we are here is to study on the matches and come up with a detailed report after the tournament.
