AFC Futsal Player of the Year 2019: Tomoki Yoshikawa
Hong Kong: Japan's Tomoki Yoshikawa has been named the 2019 AFC Futsal Player of the Year, to become the third Japanese player to win the prestigious honour.
“I’m honoured to win this award and it is very special for me because it is the first time I’m winning this," said Yoshikawa.
"This is truly a result of all my hardwork and achievements this year.”

Yoshikawa follows in the footsteps of former Nagoya Oceans players Kenichiro Kogure (2006) and Rafael Henmi (2012) in winning the award.
The 30-year-old capped an impressive year with Nagoya Oceans when he helped the club win the F.League, All Japan Futsal Championship and the F.League Oceans Cup.
He was named the F.League MVP for the 2018-2019 season and was named in the league's Best Five.
In Continental club competition, Yoshikawa played a key role in Oceans' campaign, which climaxed with the Japanese club winning a record-extending fourth AFC Futsal Club Championship title.
Yoshikawa, a key player in Oceans lifting the title with a 100 percent record - was also named the Most Valuable Player of the AFC Futsal Club Championship 2019.
Yoshikawa started his national team career in 2011, helping Japan win the 2014 AFC Futsal Championship.
