Oman 1-3 Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia only needed a minute to have their first look at the Oman goal, with captain Salman Al Faraj testing Oman goalkeeper Fayez Al Rusheidi with a thunderous drive.
Saudi Arabia continued pressing and Al Rusheidi was beaten in the 26th minute when Salem Al Dawsari sent a neat pass to Feras Albrikan, whose shot grazed the underside of the crossbar before settling in the net.
Saudi Arabia doubled their lead three minutes before the break when Hatan Bahabri had plenty of time and space inside the area to score with a powerful shot, with the ball taking a deflection off Oman defender Mohammed Al Musalami.
Oman pulled a goal back in the 55th minute with Al Mandhar Al Alawi finishing a solo effort with a powerful drive past Saudi Arabia goalkeeper Fawaz Al Qarni.
However, Oman's joy lasted only two minutes as Saudi Arabia scored their third goal when Feras Albrikan sent a pass inside the area to Bahabri, who curled a left-foot shot from the right side past the goalkeeper.
Kuwait 2-4 Bahrain
Kuwait had the first chance on the night when Youssef Nasser's header was saved by Bahrain goalkeeper Sayed Mohamed Jaafar with Bahrain's Mohamed Al Romaihi then testing Hameed Yousef on the other end.
Kuwait went close in the 28th minute but Yousef Nasser's shot was parried by Jaafar before being cleared by the Bahrain defenders.
Bahrain took the lead in the first minute of stoppage time when Ali Madan finished a good run on the left by slotting past Yousef.
Kuwait leveled the tie one minute before the hour mark when they were awarded a spot-kick for Jasim Al Shaikh's foul on Redha Abujabarah, with Nasser converting.
Nasser thought that he had scored his second goal of the night in the 66th minute but his effort was ruled out for a foul.
Bahrain, against the run of play, regained the lead in the 69th minute when Mahdi Al Humaidan passed the ball to Jasim Al Shaikh who unleashed a powerful shot from outside the area.
The Bahrainis added a third goal in the 83rd minute when Jasim Al Shaikh sent a cross from the left which Thiago Augusto finished with a volley.
Kuwait reduced the deficit two minutes later through Ahmad Zanki but Augustu settled proceedings with his second of the night in the third minute of added time.
