Korea Republic's Jang hopes to see more compatriots making Spain move
Ulsan: Having created history by becoming the first women player from Korea Republic to sign for a Spanish club, Jang Sel-gi is hoping more of her compatriots will follow her footsteps.
Jang, 25, signed for Madrid CF Femenino in the top-flight Primera Division on Wednesday and the defensive midfielder is naturally excited.

"I'll try my best to pave the way for others to come to Spain," Jang said on Friday ahead of training with the national squad for the 2019 EAFF E-1 Championship which kicks off on Tuesday.
"I am excited about the opportunity, but at the same time, I feel a sense of responsibility."
Jang will join Madrid CF Femenino from Incheon Hyundai Steel Red Angels, for whom she appeared in the recent inaugural AFC Women's Club Championship.
It will be Jang's first European club, having previously played for INAC Kobe Leonessa in Japan's Nadeshiko League.
"I feel like I am a bit too old to be doing this, and I hope younger players will try to take their talent overseas as early as they can and not have regrets later," Jang said.
"I think the more players we have in Europe, the better it will be for the national team. I am sure my experience over there should help the national team in the future."
Jang said she's been practicing Spanish, and she finds it more difficult than English.
"If I can't speak the language well, then I'll let my play do the talking," Jang concluded.
