Vietnam, Philippines through to women's semi-finals
Manila: Defending champions Vietnam and hosts Philippines sealed their places in the 2019 Sea Games women's football semi-finals with emphatic wins on Friday.
Vietnam - who played to a 1-1 draw with Thailand in their opening match - defeated Indonesia 6-0 in Group B while Philippines cruised 5-0 past Malaysia in Group A.
Indonesia's hopes now hinge on defeating Thailand on Monday while Malaysia will have to defeat Myanmar.

Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung got the ball rolling for Vietnam in the ninth minute and the lead was doubled just five minutes later by Nguyen Thi Van.
Thi Van punished Indonesia again in the 19th minute as Vietnam all but sealed the points going into the break.
Aware that goals could play a crucial role in deciding the group winners, Vietnam continued to press forward in the second half and Huynh Nhu widened their advantage in the 50th minute.
Huynh Nhu scored her second 11 minutes later and Tuyet Tung completed her brace six minutes from time as Vietnam sailed into the semi-finals in style.

Philippines 5-0 Malaysia
Sarina Bolden scored a first-half hat-trick as Philippines beat Malaysia 5-0 to book their semi-final spot.
Bolden scored her first in the 21st minute with Alisha del Campo making it 2-0 in the 39th minute.
Bolden sealed the points for her side with quick goals in the 41st and 44th minutes and Eva Madarang completed an emphatic win for Philippines in second half added time.
