West Asia Domestic Wrap: Al Sadd woes continue
Beirut: There were more woes for Al Sadd SC as, just days after their 4-1 defeat in the first leg of the 2019 AFC Champions League semi-finals, they suffered their first loss of the season in the 2019-20 Qatar Stars League.
There were no such worries for Al Hilal SFC - Al Sadd's 2019 AFC Champions League semi-final opponents - as they continued their superb start to the Saudi Pro League with a 4-1 win over Al Ettifaq to stay top of the standings.

Qatar: Al Rayyan add to Al Sadd's woes
It was a week to forget for Al Sadd as they suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Al Rayyan in Matchday Six action in the Qatar Stars League.
The win gave Al Rayyan a share of third place with Al Sadd while Al Duhail climbed to the top spot after a hard-fought 2-1 win against Al Sailiya.
Al Duhail's lead, however, could be shortlived as Al Arabi - who edged Al Khor 3-1 - have a match in hand as their tie against Al Sadd was postponed.
Saudi Arabia: Al Hilal continue to shine
Al Hilal followed up their 4-1 win against Al Sadd last Tuesday with a similar away victory in the Saudi Professional League against Al Ettifaq on Saturday as they strengthened their position at the top of the standings.
The Riyadh giants opened a four-point gap over second-placed Al Wehda, who edged Damac 1-0 while Al Ahli and Al Faisaly share third place.
Al Ahli returned to winning ways with a 3-0 win against Al Fayha while Al Faisaly have a match in hand.
UAE: Sharjah stay perfect
Defending champions Sharjah claimed their third league victory in as many matches as they continued their impressive title defence with an entertaining 3-2 win against Al Ain.
Sharjah sit alone at the top after Shabab Al Ahli Dubai played to a 0-0 draw with Al Jazira while Ajman climbed into third place with a 1-0 victory against Al Wasl.
Al Wahda failed to pick up their second win after losing 4-3 to Bani Yas in a match which saw Spanish forward Pedro Conde scoring four goals for the home side.
Oman: Saham's winning run halted
Oman Pro League pacesetters Saham dropped their first points of the season following a 0-0 draw with Fanja in the fourth round of action.
Sohar failed to return to winning ways after losing 2-1 to Al Suwaiq while newcomers Bahla Club pulled the biggest surprise of the round with a 1-0 win against defending champions Dhofar, who suffered their first defeat of the season.
Lebanon: Al Ahed show their class
Al Ahed celebrated making the 2019 AFC Cup final by scoring a 3-1 come-from-behind win against Al Akhaa Al Ahli in the third round of the Lebanon Football League.
Al Ansar defeated Safa 4-1 while the match between Al Nejmeh and Al Bourj was postponed due to Al Nejmeh's commitments in the Arab Club Championship.
