West Asia Domestic Wrap: Leaders stay ahead
Riyadh: Major leagues in West Asia came to a halt due to the widespread of the Covid-19 in several countries in the region as leaders in Saudi Arabia and UAE maintained their position at the top of the standings.
Al Duhail and Al Sadd will square off in the semi-finals of the Qatar Amir Cup while Al Hidd continued their dominance in Bahrain while Al Seeb shared a draw with Dhofar in the top match of the Oman Pro League. the-AFC.com reviews the latest domestic action in West Asia.

Saudi Arabia: Dhamk hold Al Hilal SFC
Al Hilal SFC were held to a 1-1 draw by Dhamk in the 22nd round of the Saudi Pro League but the 2019 AFC Champions League winners have a six-point lead at the top.
Al Hilal, on 51 points, are ahead of defending champions Al Nassr who returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory against Al Raed, thanks to a brace from Moroccan forward Abderrazak Hamdallah.
Al Wehda climbed into third place thanks a 2-1 win against Al Ittihad while the other Jeddah giants Al Ahli suffered a 1-0 defeat to Al Taawoun.
Following last week's action, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation has decided to suspend all football activities until further notice.

UAE: Shabab Al Ahli Dubai claim huge win over Ajman
UAE Pro League leaders Shabab Al Ahli Dubai returned to winning ways as Ahmed Khalil scored two goals to steer the Dubai-based club to a 5-2 win against 10-men Ajman for their 13th victory of the season.
Shabab Al Ahli widened the gap to six points with their direct chasers Al Ain as the inaugural AFC Champions League winners suffered a 3-1 defeat to Al Jazira, who are now only one point behind Al Ain.
Defending champions Sharjah defeated Al Fujairah 3-0 to maintain fourth place in the standings.
The UAE Football Association also announced on Sunday that all football activities have been suspended for four weeks.
Qatar: Al Duhail inch closer to a third successive Qatar Amir Cup
Defending champions Al Duhail advanced to the semi-finals of the Qatar Amir Cup after defeating Al Sailiya 4-0 in the quarter-finals.
Al Duhail set up a semi-final meeting with reigning Qatar Stars League champions Al Sadd who needed a penalty shoot-out to edge Al Wakrah after the tie ended 2-2 draw.
Giants Al Rayyan suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to second division outfit Al Markhiya, while Al Arabi edged Al Ahli 3-0 in the fourth quarter-final tie.
The Qatar Football Association, meanwhile, has suspended all football competitions until March 29.

Oman: Al Seeb lead the way
Al Seeb shared a 1-1 draw with defending champions Dhofar in the top match of Round 23 to maintain their position at the top of the Oman Professional League.
Al Nahda failed to take advantage of the draw between Al Seeb and Dhofar as they were held to a 2-2 stalemate by Al Nasr while Saham suffered their seventh defeat of the season, going down 3-2 to Al Rustaq.

Bahrain: Al Hidd on a winning momentum, Al Muharraq stay close
Al Hidd continued their winning ways in the Bahraini Premier League as they registered their ninth victory of the season, edging Al Ahli 1-0.
Giants Al Muharraq stayed in sight of Al Hidd by defeating Al Shabab 1-0 while defending champions Riffa edged Al Hala 3-2.
Palestine: Markaz Balata close in on title
Markaz Balata continued their dominance of the West Bank Premier League as they defeated Jabal Mukabar 5-2 to widen the gap with Markaz Shabab Al Amari to seven points with just three matches to play.
Markaz Shabab Al Amari were held to a 2-2 draw by Wadi Al Nes while defending champions Hilal Alquds Club continued dropping points after sharing a 1-1 draw with Shabab Al Samu.
