The Norway international, who previously played for ADO Den Haag and AZ Alkmaar before moving to Korea Republic, joins a squad that is coached by former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry.
“We are pleased with the acquisition of such a seasoned player, with extended experience in Europe and Asia,” said Montreal’s sporting director Olivier Renard.
“Bjorn is a big and very mobile striker. He has shown his capacity to score goals in all the clubs he has played for in the past.”
Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors have announced the arrival of Korea Republic U23 defender Lee You-hyeon from Jeonnam Dragons.
