AFC Technical Endorsement Ceremony celebrates developmental efforts of MAs

Doha: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) celebrated the concerted efforts of its Member Associations (MAs) in strengthening the standards of the beautiful game on the Continent at the AFC Technical Endorsement Presentation Ceremony in Doha on Tuesday. 

Held in conjunction with the AFC Annual Awards Doha 2022, the ceremony witnessed the AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa presenting ceremonial certificates to MAs that have been endorsed under the Confederation’s breakthrough technical programmes – the AFC Grassroots Charter, the AFC Coaching Convention, and the AFC Elite Youth Scheme.

AFC President lauds football development efforts in China PR

Doha: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa today held a meeting with Chinese Football Association (CFA) President Song Kai, ahead of the AFC Annual Awards Doha 2022.

Shaikh Salman expressed his warm congratulations to President Song, who was elected to the role earlier this month at the 12th CFA Congress in Beijing, where four new Vice Presidents and a new 20-member Executive Committee were also elected.

Doha: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa held a meeting with the Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) President Jaswar Umar today ahead of the AFC Annual Awards Doha 2022. 

Shaikh Salman extended his congratulations to President Umar, who was re-elected as the President of the FFSL in September this year and appreciated the commitment of the Member Association (MA) in ensuring the successful resumption of football in the country.

Doha: Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), today welcomed Wang Ling-Hsiang, President of the Chinese Taipei Football Association (CTFA), at the AFC Annual Awards Doha 2022, where the two engaged in a constructive meeting on a range of football-related matters.

At the outset, the AFC President congratulated President Wang on his successful election to the position in February and extended the Confederation’s wholehearted support towards the CTFA’s efforts to raise the standards of the game.

The AFC President congratulated newly elected President Bold Molomjamts on the overwhelming mandate that he received at the 12th MFF Elective Ordinary Congress in July this year, adding that his success was a fitting tribute to the belief of the Mongolian football community in his leadership.
