Sanfrecce stalemate for Kashiwa

Hiroshima: The domestic struggles of AFC Champions League quarter-finalists Kashiwa Reysol continued when they played out a goalless draw with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in their J.League fixture at the EDION Stadium on Wednesday.

The stalemate with Sanfrecce, who finished bottom of Group G in this year’s ACL, put Kashiwa 11th in the 18-team J.League standings with 17 points, 15 adrift of leaders Omiya Ardija, after 13 matches played.
