Nashville: Boca Juniors exited the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 as Auckland City FC scored their first goal at the tournament and collected a hugely unexpected first point in Nashville.

The Buenos Aires giants had to win by a big margin and pray that Bayern Munich earned maximum points against SL Benfica in Charlotte. Neither part of that equation ended up materialising.

With the victory, Benfica finish as Group C winners and will meet the Group D runners-up in Charlotte on Saturday. Bayern will meet Group D winners Flamengo in Miami on Sunday.
