Kuala Lumpur: ACL 2013 contenders Buriram United of Thailand are eyeing two or three new players from Spain to boost the squad ahead of their quarterfinal clash with Iran’s Esteghlal starting in August, team manager Tadthep Pitakpoolsin says.

Tehran: Esteghlal coach Amir Ghalenoei has insisted that his team will not be adopting a cautious approach on Wednesday when they take on Al Shabab Al Arabi in the second leg of their Round of 16 clash in the AFC Champions League.

Tehran: Recently-crowned Iranian champions Esteghlal secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League for the first time after they completed a 4-2 aggregate victory over Al Shabab Al Arabi of the United Arab Emirates with a goalless draw at the Azadi Stadium on Wednesday.
