Cryzan takes #ACLElite MD3 (East) best goal honour

Kuala Lumpur: Cryzan's effort for Shandong Taishan FC against Yokohama F. Marinos has been voted as the best goal of Matchday Three (East) of the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2024/25.

The Brazilian forward received almost 55 percent of the votes to finish ahead of his four challengers to advance to the semi-finals.

Voting for Matchday Four of the West Zone kicks off on Friday.

Kuala Lumpur: Gabri Viega’s strike for Al Ahli Saudi FC against Qatar’s Al Rayyan has been voted as the best goal of the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2024/25 Matchday Three (West).

The Al Ahli Saudi midfielder received 90 percent of the votes to advance to the semi-finals.

Vargas leaves Shanghai Port to join Al Fateh

Hong Kong: Former Argentina international Matias Vargas has left 2024 Chinese Super League champions Shanghai Port to join Saudi Pro League side Al Fateh.

The 27-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Jose Gomes-coached outfit, ending a three-year spell in China PR that yielded back-to-back Chinese Super League titles in 2023 and 2024 as well as a Chinese FA Cup winners medal last season.
