Kuala Lumpur: The 12 hopefuls for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2026™ discovered their road to continental glory following the Official Draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.

The 12 teams - expanded from eight - were divided into three groups with the tournament to be contested between May 1 and 17, 2026.

Kuala Lumpur: The cast for the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ was decided following the conclusion of the Qualifiers on Sunday.

The seven group winners join Asia's representatives from the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 - DPR Korea, Indonesia, Japan, Korea Republic, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan - at the Finals.

The Finals will be contested on May 7-24, 2026.

Doha: Japan advanced to the quarter-finals of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025 with a 5-4 penalty shootout win against DPR Korea after their Round of 16 tie ended 1-1 on Tuesday.

Han Il Bok missed the second of DPR Korea's spot-kicks in the shootout as Japan set up a quarter-final with Austria, with the East Asian side aiming to advance past the quarter-final stage for the first time in 11 participations.

Yangon: DPR Korea’s Naegohyang Women’s FC produced a sparkling performance to defeat ISPE WFC of Myanmar 3-0 in their AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 match on Saturday to seal their place in the quarter-finals.

The win ensured Naegohyang finished second in Group C on six points, one behind Japan’s Tokyo Verdy Beleza while ISPE ended their campaign with a third straight defeat.
