Singapore: Indonesia advanced to the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2027™ in style after defeating Singapore 5-0 in their concluding Qualifiers Group B match on Sunday.

Topping the group on maximum points, Indonesia confirmed their return to the Finals after having missed the 2026 edition.

In the earlier game Saudi Arabia earned a hard-fought 2-1 win against Bahrain.

Singapore: Indonesia and Singapore set up a showdown after picking up their second wins in Group B of the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2027™ Qualifiers on Thursday.

Indonesia left it late before securing a 3-1 victory against Saudi Arabia while Singapore defeated Bahrain 4-0, with the two Southeast Asian sides to meet on Sunday to decide the group winners.

Jakarta: There was plenty of drama in the conclusion of Group A of the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 as late goals earned Indonesia a spot in the final ahead of Malaysia on Thursday.

Two stoppage time goals saw Indonesia defeat Bangladesh 9-2 to overtake Malaysia - who won 6-0 against Singapore - with both teams finishing on seven points and with the same goal difference but John Herdman's side advanced on goals scored.

Shanghai: Yang Shuai’s close range header earned Shanghai Shenhua a 2-1 win over Singapore’s Tampines Rovers on Thursday as the Chinese Super League side picked up all three points in their Group G opener in the AFC Champions League Two 2026/27™.

Xu Haoyang gave the home side a 19th minute lead and, while Faris Ramli had levelled the scores in the 33rd minute, Yang nodded in a decisive second for Vladan Milojevic’s side in the 62nd minute to secure the victory.
