Hanoi: Vietnam were at their devastating best as they defeated Malaysia 4-0 in their Qualifiers Group C tie on Sunday to book their place at the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™.

Macau ended their campaign on a positive note with a 2-0 win over Northern Mariana Islands while Singapore and Hong Kong, China shared a 1-1 stalemate.

Australia, Japan impress; Korea Republic held; defeat for Bangladesh

Kuala Lumpur: Australia and Japan produced impressive performances in victories against New Zealand and Canada as they continued their preparations for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™.

Australia defeated New Zealand 5-0 on Friday while Japan cruised 3-0 past Canada on Saturday.

Korea Republic were held by Wales while Bangladesh, who will be making their AFC Women’s Asian Cup debut, suffered defeat against Malaysia.

Hanoi: Malaysia and Vietnam will face off for the Group C top spot after registering their third consecutive wins in the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ Qualifiers on Friday.

Malaysia edged Singapore 2-1 while Vietnam defeated Macau 4-0, with the group hosts holding a superior goal difference going into Sunday’s showdown.

Hong Kong, China defeated Northern Mariana Islands in the group’s other match.

Pohang: Head coach Park Tae-ha praised his team after their 2-0 win over BG Pathum United in Group H secured their place in the AFC Champions League Two™ Round of 16 on Thursday.

A brace from Lee Ho-Jae secured the three points for Pohang, who dominated the match with their disciplined defending, limiting Pathum United’s chances.

Singapore:  Tampines Rovers FC advanced into the AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 Round of 16 with a thrilling 5-3 defeat of Kaya FC-Iloilo in their Group H fixture at Bishan Stadium on Thursday.

A brace from Hide Higashikawa and one apiece from Takeshi Yoshimoto, Trent Buhagiar and Faris Ramli moved the Singapore side to 13 points, three clear of fellow-qualifiers FC Pohang Steelers. It was Philippines side Kaya FC-Iloilo’s fifth straight loss.

Pathum Thani: Persib Bandung head coach Bojan Hodak and his Lion City Sailors FC counterpart Aleksandar Rankovic have vowed their respective sides will leave no stone unturned in their bid to advance to the knockout stage of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26.

Wednesday’s Group C results saw Bangkok United FC assured of a top two finish after playing to a 1-1 draw with Selangor FC while Sailors revived their hopes with a 3-2 defeat of Persib.

Bangkok and Persib are tied on 10 points, with Sailors three behind with just one matchday remaining.

Singapore: Lion City Sailors FC stayed in the running for a spot in the AFC Champions League Two™ 2025/26 Round of 16 with a thrilling 3-2 win over Persib Bandung in Group G at the Bishan Stadium on Wednesday.

The win moved the Singapore side to seven points, with Malaysia’s Selangor FC their final fixture. Persib - on 10 points - will advance if they avoid defeat against Bangkok United in their final fixture.

Hanoi: Vietnam and Malaysia remained in a dead heat for the ticket to the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ after registering their third consecutive wins in Group C of the Qualifiers on Wednesday. 

Vietnam defeated Hong Kong, China 2-0 while Malaysia cruised 5-0 past Macau. Singapore, meanwhile, left it late to seal a hard-fought 2-1 win over Northern Mariana Islands.

Hanoi: Malaysia and Vietnam recorded second successive wins in Group C of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™ Qualifiers on Monday. 

Malaysia edged Hong Kong, China 1-0 while Vietnam cruised to an emphatic 14-0 victory over Northern Mariana Islands. Singapore left it late to hold Macau to a 1-1 stalemate.

Hanoi: Malaysia and Vietnam registered emphatic wins while there was a triumphant start for Hong Kong, China as well in Group C of the AFC U17 Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2026™Qualifiers on Saturday.

Malaysia cruised 13-0 past Northern Mariana Islands, Vietnam saw off Singapore with a 6-0 win while Hong Kong, China defeated Macau 2-0.

Group A: Stallion Laguna FC (PHI) 5-0 Lion City Sailors FC (SGP)

Ho Chi Minh City: Stallion Laguna FC concluded their AFC Women’s Champions League™ 2025/26 Group A campaign with a 5-0 win against Lion City Sailors FC on Wednesday.

The result saw the Philippines club confirming third spot in the group but they will have to wait for Group B to be completed to see if they can advance as among the two best third-placed finishers into the knockout stage.

History-makers Singapore make Lee proud

Hong Kong: Gavin Lee was proud with his players ability to respond after Singapore secured a return to the AFC Asian Cup™ by defeating Hong Kong, China 2-1 in their Qualifiers Final Round Group C tie on Tuesday.

The victory meant the Southeast Asian side booked their spot in the Finals on merit for the first time, with their only previous appearance as hosts of the 1984 edition, and Lee said it was achieved as his players continued to believe despite going a goal down.
