Kuala Lumpur: Only four spots remain up for grabs as Matchday Five of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers Final Round came to a close on Tuesday.

Singapore edged Hong Kong, China 2-1 to confirm the Group C qualification ticket, joining Syria - who booked the Group E top spot on Matchday Four. The two join the 18 teams who advanced to the AFC Asian Qualifiers™ - Road to 26 at Saudi Arabia 2027.

Qualifiers - Group B: Yemen 7-1 Bhutan

Ardhiyah: Yemen kept alive their hopes of reaching the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ with a 7-1 win against Bhutan in their Qualifiers Final Round Group B tie on Tuesday.

With Lebanon 3-0 winners over Brunei Darussalam in the other game, Yemen went into the match knowing they couldn’t afford to slip up with the victory setting up a winners-take-all showdown with their fellow West Asian side on March 31.

Dhaka: Bangladesh defeated India 1-0 to secure their first AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers Final Round Group C win at the National Stadium Dhaka on Tuesday.

With both sides already eliminated, the result moved Bangladesh to five points while India anchor the table on two.

Qualifiers - Group D: Turkmenistan 3-1 Chinese Taipei

Arkadag: Turkmenistan saw off a determined challenge to beat Chinese Taipei 3-1 in their AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers Final Round Group D tie to ensure they stayed very much in the hunt.

The victory moved Turkmenistan level on 12 points with Thailand, setting up a do-or-die clash with the Southeast Asian side on Matchday Six.

Qualifiers - Group F: Nepal 0-1 Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur:  Malaysia had to work hard before edging Nepal 1-0 in their AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers Final Round Group F tie at Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Tuesday.

With Vietnam only playing Laos on Wednesday, Malaysia moved six points clear at the top with the victory.

Bandar Seri Begawan: Lebanon kept themselves in the driver’s seat after cruising to a 3-0 win against Brunei Darussalam in their AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Qualifiers Final Round Group B tie on Tuesday.

The victory moved Lebanon to 13 points, five clear of Yemen who play Bhutan later on Tuesday.

Qualifiers - Group C: Hong Kong, China 1-2 Singapore

Hong Kong: Singapore booked their ticket to the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ after coming from behind to defeat Hong Kong, China 2-1 in their Qualifiers Final Round Group C clash on Tuesday.

An early goal from Matt Orr was cancelled out by Shawal Anuar and Ilhan Fandi in the second half to take Singapore to 11 points, earning them qualification to the Finals on merit for the first time, with their only previous appearance being as hosts of the 1984 edition.

It was heartbreak for Hong Kong, China, who were seeking back-to-back appearances at the Finals after having ended a 55-year wait by qualifying for Qatar 2023.
