Shaikh Salman reinforces role of Korea FA in raising Asian game

Seoul: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa concluded his visit to Seoul, Korea Republic, today where he held several high-level meetings with the nation’s top officials, including the Korea Republic Prime Minister Han Duck Soo as well as Korea Football Association (KFA) President Chung Mong Gyu.

The AFC President underlined the strong sense of partnership between the AFC and the KFA and applauded the pivotal role of the Association in elevating the standards of Asian football over the years, exemplified by the ever-expanding list of triumphs achieved by the KFA and its national teams and clubs across all levels.

AFC President meets with Royal Belgian FA President

Manama: Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President His Excellency (H.E.) Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa met with Ms. Pascale Van Damme, President of the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) on Tuesday during her visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the meeting, which was also attended by H.E. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Football Association, H.E. Shaikh Salman welcomed Ms. Van Damme, praising the distinguished position that Belgian football occupies on the global arena.
