Saudi Arabia take over top spot in the AFC Club Competitions Ranking
Kuala Lumpur: Al Hilal SFC’s record breaking victory in the AFC Champions League 2021 Final has propelled Saudi Arabia to the top of the latest AFC Club Competitions Ranking.
With the results of clubs participating in the four previous sporting seasons, Saudi Arabia lead the rankings on 100 points as Korea Republic trail in second on 95.462 points followed by former leaders Japan, who dropped to third place, on 93.412 points.

Enhanced programmes set to elevate AFC’s MAs and RAs
Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s Member Associations (MAs) and Regional Associations (RAs) will be in a stronger position to develop football across the Continent with the new AFC Enhance Member Association Programme and AFC Enhance Regional Association Programme, which were ratified by the AFC Executive Committee at its eighth meeting on November 21, 2021.
Football in Asia will ultimately benefit from the two programmes that will equip the AFC’s MAs and RAs with the capabilities in establishing and implementing long-term and sustainable plans in the sport.
