Innovative ‘Social Distance Football’ launched in Cambodia

Phnom Penh: The Indochina Starfish Foundation, a partner of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), has launched an inventive format of football called ‘Social Distance Football’ which includes elements of the sport while incorporating the best health guidelines to stay safe from COVID-19.

Coaches in Cambodia mooted the idea of ‘Social Distance Football’ after watching children continue playing football despite concerns of the pandemic which has forced the suspension of the sport around the world.
