AFC Futsal Technical Workshop 2024 concludes successfully

Kuala Lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s determination to enhance the futsal landscape in Asia reached a significant milestone with the conclusion of the AFC Futsal Technical Workshop 2024 on Friday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The workshop, which kicked off on December 1, saw five tutors from five Member Associations (MAs) convene in the Malaysian capital city to update the existing syllabus of the AFC Futsal Level 2 Coaching Certificate Course.

AFC Coach Education Tutors’ Course 2024 concludes on high note

Chiang Mai: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Coach Education Tutor’s Course 2024 for participants in the East and ASEAN regions concluded on Friday, marking yet another instance of the Confederation’s efforts to maximise the potential of its Member Associations (MAs).

The course, which kicked off on November 25, saw 26 participants from 13 MAs take part in several activities to hone their skills and lend their expertise for the advancement of the Asian game.

Taking place from November 5 to 8, the programme saw goalkeeping tutors and coaches from AFC Member Associations come together to exchange ideas on the training methodologies of goalkeeping coaches.

Kuala Lumpur: The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) became the 10th AFC Member Association (MA) to be awarded a Gold-level membership under the AFC Grassroots Charter, in recognition of its outstanding commitment to grassroots football development.

During a visit to the Kingdom earlier this month, the AFC grassroots assessors met with officials, visited training centres, and observed a robust programme supported by long-term collaborative projects between the SAFF and regional stakeholders and government bodies, including the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Sports.
