Buraidah: ACL 2012 contenders Saudi club Al Hilal drew 1-1 with Al Raed in their 21st week match in the Saudi Pro League at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium on Monday.
Al Hilal’s Saad Al Harthi scored first 34 minutes into the game which stayed at 1-0 much to the consternation of Al Raed until just 10 minutes before full time when Yahya Al Muslem levelled the score.
Al Hilal are now standing in third place in the Saudi League table with 47 points, five points adrift from fellow ACL participating club Al Ahli who thrashed Al Ettifaq 4-0 also on Monday in Dammam.
Al Ahli currently top Group D of the ACL above Iran’s Piroozi, UAE’s representatives Al Shabab Al Arabi and Al Gharafa of Qatar whom they will meet on March 21.
