Kuala Lumpur: FC Seoul hitman, one of the K-League's most prolific strikers, signs for club rivals Suwon, who will take part in the 2018 AFC Champions League Play-offs.
K-League Classic side Suwon Samsung Bluewings gave their 2018 AFC Champions League hopes a major boost on Thursday when they announced the signing of the competition's third highest scorer from archrivals FC Seoul.
Former Montenegro international Damjanovic, 36, has enjoyed considerable success in the continental tournament helping FC Seoul to the 2013 final and boasting a tally of 27 goals in the competition, the third highest total since the AFC Champions League revamp in 2002-2003.
The powerful striker is also one of the K-League's finest-ever foreign imports having netted 173 goals in 303 matches, winning three consecutive scoring titles from 2011 to 2013, and lifting the league title three times in 2010, 2012 and 2016.
