Failure not an option for Jeonbuk's Lee Jae-sung

Jeonju: Lee Jae-sung admits the fear of failure is a huge motivation ahead of Saturday’s 2016 AFC Champions League final first leg between Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and Al Ain, with last year’s elimination at the hands of Japan’s Gamba Osaka in the quarter-finals still a painful memory for the Korea Republic midfielder.

After a goalless draw in Jeonju, the return meeting in Osaka saw a last-gasp stoppage time goal from Koki Yonekura ensure a 3-2 win on the night and on aggregate for the J Leaguers as Jeonbuk were dumped out of the 2015 edition in stunning fashion.
