Melbourne: Australia's Melbourne Victory picked up their first point in their 2019 AFC Champions League Group F campaign after coming back from a goal down to salvage a 1-1 draw with Guangzhou Evergrande of China PR on Tuesday.
With their hopes of progressing from Group F all but extinguished after their 4-0 loss to Guangzhou on Matchday Three, Kevin Muscat made eight changes to his starting 11 from their A-League game last Friday.

Doha: Al Sadd coach Jesualdo Ferreira insists there is plenty of work to do in order to qualify for the 2019 AFC Champions League last 16 after the Qatari side secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor on Monday.
Xavi scored his second free-kick – and third goal – in two games as Al Sadd took an early lead at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium before Egor Krimets leveled proceedings as the sides went in level at the interval.
But with the clock ticking down, Baghdad Bounedjah capitalised on a defensive error before slotting home to seal all three points as the 2018 semi-finalists moved to the top of the Group D standings.

Doha: Goals from Xavi and Baghdad Bounedjah earned Qatar’s Al Sadd a hard-fought 2-1 home victory over Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor on Matchday Four of the 2019 AFC Champions League Group D on Tuesday.
The two teams had played out a 2-2 draw a fortnight ago in Tashkent and a single point separated them before kick-off, as Pakhtakor topped the group with five points.
Al Sadd needed just 10 minutes to take the lead through Xavi who, just as in the previous game, curled a free-kick into the top corner of Sanjar Kuvvatov net.

Dubai: A second 2019 AFC Champions League brace from Omar Al Somah steered Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli to a 2-1 win over Islamic Republic of Iran’s Persepolis at Maktoum bin Rashid Stadium on Monday.
The two teams came into the match occupying the last two places in the group, with Persepolis sitting third with four points after their 2-0 win against Al Ahli on Matchday Three left the Saudis bottom of the group with three points.
The first chance of the match fell Persepolis’ way after six minutes as Iraqi international midfielder Bashar Resan dribbled down the right and drilled a shot from inside the box, but goalkeeper Mohammed Al Owais made the save low to his near post.

Tashkent: Al Ittihad coach José Luis Sierra was satisfied to return to Saudi Arabia with a point after Monday's 1-1 draw in Uzbekistan, despite the side spurning several opportunities.
Joint leading scorers in this year's AFC Champions League after Monday's Matchday Four fixtures, Jeddah side Al Ittihad could feel somewhat disappointed with the solitary goal to show for their 20 shots registered against PFC Lokomotiv.
Romarinho's 12th minute opener gave hope for a third win in four Continental ties, but Temurkhuja Abdukholiqov restored parity for the hosts nine minutes before half-time and, despite, a barrage of efforts on goal from both sides the score remained 1-1 at full-time.

Abu Dhabi: Leonardo was the star of the show, netting all four goals for Al Wahda as they came from behind to defeat Al Rayyan 4-3 on Matchday Four of the 2019 AFC Champions League Group B on Monday.
Al Wahda had come from behind to defeat Al Rayyan 2-1 in Doha two weeks ago and top the group with six points. So, the return fixture offered a chance for the Qataris to catch their opponents.
The visitors came racing off the blocks and were in front within 120 seconds through Sebastian Soria.
The former Qatari international striker evaded his marker inside the box and headed home from Rodrigo Tabata’s free-kick to hand Al Rayyan an early lead.

Tashkent: 10-man PFC Lokomotiv held on for a 1-1 draw against Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad at Lokomotiv Stadium on Matchday Four of the 2019 AFC Champions League Group B on Monday.
Al Ittihad had won their previous encounter against Lokomotiv on Matchday Three thanks to an added-time penalty from Fahad Al Muwallad.
The winger was again the dangerman for the Saudi side. His 10th-minute corner kick found Brazilian forward Romarinho in plenty of space inside the Lokomotiv box, and the former Al Jazira striker converted the opener.
Lokomotiv looked to respond through Temurkhuja Abdukholikov, whose curling effort from the edge of the box went just over the crossbar three minutes after.
