Kuala Lumpur: Urawa Red Diamonds were crowned champions of Asia for the third time earlier this month as they defeated Al Hilal SFC 2-1 on aggregate in the final to bring the curtains down on yet another engrossing edition of the AFC Champions League™. 

After Japan's Urawa dethroned Saudi Arabian outfit Al Hilal to add to their 2007 and 2017 triumphs and become the second most successful club on the continent alongside Pohang Steelers, the-AFC.com looks back on some of the standout performers from the competition to find out the Best XI from the 2022 edition.

Mumbai: Persepolis will head into the final day of the 2022-23 Iran Pro League in control of their destiny after a 4-0 win over Gol Gohar maintained their one-point lead at the top.

Hong Kong: Reigning champions Yokohama F. Marinos suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat at the hands of newly promoted Albirex Niigata in Japan on Sunday meaning that leaders Vissel Kobe extended their advantage at the summit to five points with 13 games played of the campaign.

In Hong Kong, Kitchee SC continued to fill their trophy cabinet with more silverware after a 7-1 win over BC Rangers on Saturday saw them win the FA Cup to add to their Premier League and Senior Shield triumphs this season and complete their fifth treble since 2011. 

In China PR, Shanghai Port and Shanghai Shenhua have identical records at the top after seven matches of the season, but it is the former who take the pole position by virtue of scoring more goals. West Asia Wrap: Al Arabi clinch Amir Cup; Al Hilal edge Al Wehda to lift King's Cup

Doha: Al Arabi ended a 30-year wait for the Qatar Amir Cup title after stunning Al Sadd SC 3-0 in the final on Friday. 

Al Hilal SFC, meanwhile, edged Al Wehda on penalties to lift the Saudi King's Cup.
