Group D: PFC Nasaf (UZB) 2-1 Shabab Al Ahli Dubai (UAE)

Qarshi: Zoran Marusic struck twice as PFC Nasaf of Uzbekistan fought back to defeat UAE’s Shabab Al Ahli Dubai 2-1 in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 Group D tie on Wednesday.

Mateus Lima put the visitors ahead in the first half but Marusic came up with a late brace to turn the game around and help Nasaf to their first win in the group.

The Ghanaian’s first half strike secured Al Wakrah their first points while Ravshan are still in search of a win, having opened their campaign with a draw.

Group G: Tampines Rovers (SGP) 3-1 Lee Man (HKG)

Singapore: Tampines Rovers fought back from going behind in the fourth minute to hand Hong Kong Premier League champions Lee Man a 3-1 defeat on Wednesday to pick up their first win in Group G of the AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 at Jalan Besar Stadium.

Li Ngai Hoi scored early for the visitors but Boris Koptovic’s injury time penalty set up Gavin Lee’s side to take control of the second half, where Faris Ramli put Tampines in front before Seia Kunori sealed the win with 15 minutes remaining.

The win is Tampines’ first in the group phase of the AFC Champions League Two while Lee Man are still looking for their first point of the campaign.

Nam Dinh: Vietnam’s Nam Dinh FC and Bangkok United of Thailand had to settle for a 0-0 draw in their AFC Champions League Two™ 2024/25 Group G fixture at the Thien Truong Stadium on Wednesday.

The result took both teams to four points, with Bangkok United leading the standings on goal difference.

Gotoku Sakai’s second half winner separated the two sides with Vissel earning their first win to move onto four points while Shandong are one adrift.

Yokohama: Yokohama F Marinos bounced back from their dismal start to the AFC Champions League Elite™ 2024/25 to hand Korea Republic’s Ulsan HD a 4-0 defeat at Yokohama International Stadium on Wednesday.

John Hutchison’s J1 League side suffered a 7-3 defeat against Gwangju FC in their opening game of the continental championship but made amends with a well-earned victory in a re-run of last season’s AFC Champions League™ semi-final.

Kota Watanabe put the home side in front in the fourth minute and Takuma Nishimura added the second a minute before the interval while Anderson Lopes hit a late third and Kota Mizunuma scored a fourth to give Marinos their first three points of the campaign.

Ulsan, meanwhile, remain without a point having also lost their opening game against Japan's Kawasaki Frontale in last month’s first matchday of the league phase.
